Venus turns retrograde on October 2nd, 2026, meeting the sun at 0° Scorpio on October 23rd— the last Venus Star Point in Scorpio that any of us will witness. This is the seventh time I have guided women through the Heroine's Journey into the underworld and back. This Retrograde is, without question, the most significant.

WHY THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT

A Threshold Over Nine Years in the Making

On March 25th, 2017, the Retrograde Venus Star Point was at 4° Aries and I taught this class for the very first time. I had dreamed it into being just weeks before — literally. Venus is conjunct Neptune at the top of my chart and she speaks to me in dreams.

That Star Point opened a cycle that has spiraled through six iterations, hundreds of women, and more underworld journeys than I can count.

This one is extra special.

On October 23rd, 2026, Venus meets the Sun at 0° Scorpio — the Venus Star Point. The last Retrograde Scorpio Star Point was at 3° Scorpio in October 2018. After this one, the Star Points move backward into Libra and will not return to Scorpio until 2177 (yes really!).

0° Scorpio is not a subtle degree. It is the absolute threshold of the sign of depth, transformation, death, and rebirth. It sits at the edge of the abyss — not as a warning, but as an invitation to finally stop standing at the door and walk through it.

There is more.

This Venus Star Point is also the Venus Star Point return for the United States — the country's own reckoning with what has been buried, avoided, and left unintegrated. Whatever is happening collectively right now, you already feel it. This class won't fix that. But it will give you somewhere real to stand inside of it.

Most people know Venus Retrograde as a time to revisit the past, reconsider relationships, and review financial issues. That's the surface reading. It's not wrong. It's just not the whole story.

Underneath the Venus cycle lives one of the oldest myths we have — the story of a descent, a loss, a search, and a return. You probably know it as Persephone and Demeter. I work with it as the map it has always been.

Venus descends into the underworld. She does not go gracefully. She goes because something pulls her — or takes her — and the world above goes fallow while she is gone. Demeter, her mother, her Ceres, the one who tends and nourishes and holds everything together, walks the earth in grief, refusing to let anything grow until her daughter is found.

And at the crossroads, holding a torch in each hand, stands Hekate.

She is the one who heard the cry. She is the one who knows the way. She does not rescue — she illuminates. She walks with Demeter into the dark and she walks with Persephone back to the threshold. Without her, no reunion happens.

Pluto — Hades — is not simply the villain of this story. She (yes I said she - find out why in the journey) is the underworld itself. The deep. The place where things that cannot survive in the light are kept until they are ready to be transformed. He is where your unlived life waits. Your unspoken truths. The parts of yourself you buried because it felt safer than being seen.

In this class, we work with all three goddesses and the underworld as a living system — not as mythology to be admired from a distance, but as a map of your own interior landscape.

How a Dream Became a Journey

In early 2017, I dreamed this class into being.

Not as a metaphor. I mean I actually dreamed it — woke up with the bones of it already formed, already knowing what it needed to be. A few weeks later, on March 25th 2017, Venus stationed retrograde at 13° Aries and I taught it for the first time.

It felt as if my whole life's experiences were converging. The Astrology Path and the Shamanic Path.

I believe that the Cosmos is a living, pulsing, being that we are to be in alignment with and immersion into the energies and cycles is how we learn to not only find deep self acceptance and healing. The Cosmos is a transformational ecosystem. And so are you. This Journey will help you to re-member who you are.

Your nervous system remembers who you were before the world told you to shrink.

I had no idea then that I would still be teaching this journey nearly a decade later. I had no idea that it would deepen with every iteration in ways I could not have anticipated or planned. I had no idea that the women who walked through it would carry it with them the way they have — that I would still be hearing about what shifted, what was found, what was finally released, years after the calls ended.

I have now guided this journey six times. Each time the astrology has been different. Each time the shamanic work has gone somewhere new. Each time something has happened in the room — the virtual room, the collective container — that I cannot fully explain and have stopped trying to.

What I can tell you is this: the class has always been exactly what it needed to be for the moment it was born into.

And this moment is unlike any we have worked with before.

I did not plan to be here, teaching this, in 2026, at the last Scorpio Venus Star Point of our lifetimes. But I also did not plan the dream in 2017, and here we are.
